The Premier Emergency Preparedness Stop The Bleed course is a classroom, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage life-threatening bleeding.
Uncontrolled bleeding is a major cause of preventable deaths. Approximately 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to bleeding or its consequences, establishing hemorrhage as the most common cause of preventable death in trauma.*
However, anyone at the scene can act as an immediate responder and save lives if they know what to do.
