We can help select the right training for your team!
Protect your organization's bottom lineEach year sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) strikes over 360,000 people in the United States. The majority of these people have no warning and have no prior symptoms and sadly less than 6% survive without early intervention.
5,333 workers died on the job in 2019 due to workplace injury (3.5 per 100,000 full-time equivalent workers) — on average, more than 100 a week or about 15 deaths every day. About 20% (1,061) of worker fatalities in private industry in calendar year 2019 were in construction – accounting for one in five worker deaths for the year.
Many industries are required by government organizations (i.e. OSHA) to have trained staff on site. If your industry requires CPR and First Aid training and your organization does not enforce it you can be found liable -- this typically means steep fines and civil litigation is highly probable.
Big Benefits of TrainingProviding CPR & First Aid training to your employees provides several big benefits!
From a humanistic perspective, it’s the right thing to do. Providing timely care to employees can mean the difference between life and death, between a short recovery and a long recovery, between a temporary disability and a permanent one. Such training also can have positive results on employee morale by demonstrating that the company cares for employees’ well being.
Scheduling classes for your organization makes your HR staff happy because it is easier to collectively track who is certified and when they expire without having to consult individual employee files.

- Our STOP THE BLEED course is a classroom, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage life-threatening bleeding. This course is available as Stand-Alone Course or Course Add-on and can be completely instructor led or a Hybrid Course. We use curriculum from the American College of Surgeons and participants receive a certificate of completion valid for one-year.
- Uncontrolled bleeding is a major cause of preventable deaths. Approximately 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to bleeding or its consequences, establishing hemorrhage as the most common cause of preventable death in trauma. However, anyone at the scene can act as an immediate responder and save lives if they know what to do.
- Active Shooter/Killer and Workplace Violence Response Training - Contact us to discuss
- This course was developed to provide strategies to individuals, to help protect themselves and reduce the dangers faced during an active shooter/killer event. It is designed and built on the Avoid/Deny/Defend strategy, which has been developed as an easy to remember method for individuals to follow. Included in this training will be the human stress response, discussions on 100% accountability relating to schools, addressing so common myths such as "hide and hope, and "playing dead," which have all been proven to be ineffective. CRASE will also address how concealed handgun permit holders can better react to situations before and during the arrival of law enforcement and what civilians can do to better protect themselves and others before law enforcement arrives. This course pairs very well with STOP THE BLEED (see above).
- Many organizations request this training to share with their staff and volunteers as they incorporate it into their emergency action plans.
- Course Length varies depending on your organizations needs. The didactic portion is approximately 45-60 minutes. A live training drill would add approximately 1-2 hours of time. Our CRASE Instructors are all active and retired law enforcement officers certified by the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center at Texas State University. In 2013, ALERRT was named the National Standard in Active Shooter Response Training by the FBI.
