Developed from the needs of combat and tactical medical personnel, QuikClot Combat Gauze combines surgical gauze with an inorganic material that stops arterial and venous bleeding in seconds. Infused with Kaolin, it generates no heat. It shares the benefit of being inert and non-allergenic.
A pliable material can be fitted to any size or shape wound – including penetrating wounds. It is easily removed once clotting has taken place.
